How and why people should practice Safety especially in Uganda?

1. Workplace Safety Gear:
   • In industrial or construction settings, ensure workers have access to and use appropriate safety gear like hard hats, gloves, goggles, and steel-toe boots to prevent injuries.
   • Provide and encourage the use of earplugs or earmuffs in noisy environments to prevent hearing damage.
2. Traffic and Road Safety:
   • Encourage the use of helmets for motorcyclists and bicycles riders to reduce head injuries in accidents.
   • Reflective vests or clothing can improve visibility, especially for pedestrians or workers near roads at night.
3. Fire Safety Equipment:
   • Install and maintain fire extinguishers in homes, offices, and public buildings. Train individuals in their proper usage.
   • Smoke detectors and fire alarms are essential for early warning in case of fires.
4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
   • Facemasks and gloves remain important, especially during health crises or in areas where there’s a risk of infectious diseases.
